I haven't read the previous books in this series, so I was a little lost in the beginning.

This was an enjoyable read once I worked out who was who and what was happening. There was a slow start before I could really sink my teeth into the story.
I enjoyed the fact that this was a romance between mature adults. The story dealt with their past baggage, it wasn't all sunshine and roses. The issues in their lives helped shaped their characters and what they are today. Great characters surrounding them, I need to go back and discover their stories.
This is one emotional story, you may not even like the characters but the story is real.
