My favourite YA author steps up for another brilliant series.

The romance and characters are sweet without being childish. This school makes me think of 90210 the original, the snobby rich kids in school. Actually like any highschool there are divides between the students, the rich, the nerds etc. Londyn and Maverick are from opposite sides, like Romeo and Juliet, she's rich and he's a charity case so to speak. They both love the arts though and find a connection. There was added drama in this story, parents and teachers who can't possibly believe the truth. Will honesty prevail in the end?
This was a wonderful story with such likeable characters, I couldn't put it down.
Can't wait to read about the next characters in this series.

 Awesome collection

What an awesome set of books this is. I read them individually when they first came out.

Curveball: I've already fallen in love with this new series. These three sisters are tight and this book mainly focuses on the eldest Madelyn. Maddie and her sisters are starting over in a new school without a women's baseball team so they join the boys...yeah that goes down well.
Holden (think arrogant jock..at least on the surface) is intrigued by Maddie so to annoy her goes after her sister. Will it be sisters before misters or trouble?
What's going on in this small town with thefts and assault on the school grounds? Is it the obvious bad boy family or someone else?
A little bit of mystery, drama and not too much teen angst made for a brilliant easy to read story. I'm really looking forward to the other sister's stories.

Strike Out: I'm loving this series, but the ending.....arggghhhh when's the next one out?
This book runs parallel along side the first book, this is the second sister Max's story. Her secret romance with both a guy and a guitar. Her family think she is playing baseball, but she's growing up and pursuing her own dreams. She gets caught up in some scary drama and her father cracks the whip in fear. I can't wait to read the 3rd sister's story as I have a feeling she's also rebelling.
Bravo Jordan Ford, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and this series and highly recommend it.

Foul Play: I think this might be my new fave series by this author, even though I adored the BigPlay novels.
This is the 3rd book and ran parallel with the first two, they linked so well and offered closure on some points from the other two books.
This one had not only young love but a lot of suspense, drama and danger happening.
I loved this allegedly bad boy and his softer side. The reasons for his actions and behaviour and the influence that Chloe had on him.
Epilogues...yes more than one. I loved seeing all of them a year later, evolving into adulthood. Thank you Jordan for this wonderful trilogy. I loved it and highly recommend it, but start at book 1.

The Christmas Novella: This novel was short and sweet and I really want to know what happens to these characters next. These two young characters were meant for each other. From different cultures it was never going to be easy. His past and her parents, will these issues stand in their way? I could see what was coming, it was relatable, so young and their lives about to change...for better or worse, you be the judge. I enjoyed it and recommend this series for the lives of the other characters.

The latter part of this story was action packed with danger. These kids know too much, will they all survive?
I'm both happy and sad to read this closure to the series. The rest of their lives is now in our imaginations and I'm so looking forward to seeing what this author does next.

Jackson promised to take his best friend to prom, no matter what. But four years down the track and things between them have shifted. Can childhood besties become something more, or will it ruin everything?

We're coming to the end of the series with one book to go, I should be sad but I'm excited to see what's next for this author.
Jake, Carmen and the others are off to the wilderness to film a documentary. It all started so well until there was extreme danger and everyone ran for their lives. Murder certainly wasn't the plan nor was getting lost. I enjoyed watching Jake and Carmen's relationship develop as they were on the run. Would they be saved in time as bullets were flying.
The back story is the brothers and their loves slowly coming together, back to where they started and life was good.
The tears were both happy and sad in this story, the author did a great job in building the suspense, I was glued to my kindle.

He agreed to a trip into the wilderness for a chance to win her heart. What he didn’t count on was a chilling murder and a race for their lives.
Jake:

I have to say this one is my favourite in this series. Brody and Indigo were a great couple, but their relationship is based on lies which could blow up in their faces. Brody is employed as her bodyguard at college due to threatening letters. There's a stalker, is he real or just a hoax? The author unravelled this mystery brilliantly, a red herring had me thinking otherwise then just when I thought I had worked it out there was a great twist. Nope, I really didn't see that coming. As always, I love the ending of these stories where we see the other characters coming together.
Just wonderful, a great story and characters that we want to love.

I can't believe it's been over 4 years since I read these books individually. Lucky you, getting to binge one of my fave series. After reading through my reviews from before I want to go back and read them now.

The Playmaker
I love a good YA in between other books and this was one not to be disappointed with. In fact I absolutely enjoyed every bit of it.
Teenage angst...so long ago for me and I'm an Aussie so American sports is another world away.
Tori is not one of the 'popular girls' as she is different and unique, she's hot for the football jock who is also a childhood friend. Colt the football jock has his own self doubts that he keeps hidden to stay cool. Circumstances bring them together and we watch Tori change herself, her clothing and makeup to try and fit in. Their journey is amusing, the banter funny, but I'm sure to a teen it's total drama.
Ultimately it's about friendships and the journey through the final year of high school.
The story flowed well and the characters were so engaging.

The Red Zone
I found this book hard to put down, I got so caught up in their lives that I was annoyed when I reached my train stop and had to get off.
Living in Melbourne myself there are a lot of Kiwis around especially when a local rugby game is on and I couldn't help but read Kaija's speech with her accent.
High schools I'm sure are similar the world over, the popular kids, the jocks, the nerds and all those kids on the outer. Teenage angst, love, jealousy and bullying all made so much harder in this generation of social media where there is no escape.
Fabulous story line and engaging characters, I laughed and cried reading this book.

The Handoff
This one is about Layla, Mack's sister and Mack's friend Finn. Layla and Finn found an expected connection that quickly became special.
Trouble seems to find Layla, the grief of losing her father has her lost and lonely despite being a popular girl (pretty much due to her drinking and easy reputation with the boys). I enjoyed watching her blossom and mature while surrounded by drama.
I really enjoyed the story line in this book, I was totally swept up in Layla's life and felt so sorry for her. I was hoping that it would all work out in the end and she'd get her HEA.
The characters were fun, except for the ones I wanted to smack and I waited for them to get their comeuppance. There was that one scene that I read faster to see how it panned out...my heart was pounding.
There is an ongoing secret in these books and I imagine it will all come to light in the next book.

Shoot The Gap
This is Tyler's story, the goofy funny guy and his friend Sammy who is like one of the guys. He has the hots for her sister and can't see past her looks and popularity to what a b*tch she is.
The story line flowed smoothly and kept me entertained, I enjoyed catching up with characters from previous books too. Such teen angst, typical high school with the popular kids and the jocks and the nerds.
I'm sad to see this series end, but look forward to whatever this author puts out next.

This one was emotionally exhausting...all the 'feels' I loved it.
The next Barrett boy to come home is Deeks. I enjoyed all the backstories that come through in these stories as well as the here and now. The thoughts and words from their Grandpa still in their minds.
Kena has gone through her own personal hell, on the cusp of womanhood her life is ripped out from under her as she becomes an orphan.
He's trapped in the world of illegal fighting and so much more. I was glued to my kindle as the final chapters galloped home. Would they make it out alive and have a future together? Just brilliant, I loved it.
