Engaging Emersyn: A Protector Romance (RAPTOR Book 9)

Emersyn and her team are closing in on their objective in their mission. Her body is failing her though, her hip joint is crumbling and she's been in pain for years. Her latest doctor is a blast from the past. Circumstances cut their previous relationship short, hearts were broken. Was fate bringing them back together, could mistakes be forgiven?

This doctor has trial medication, his reseach was taken from him years ago and is now in the wrong hands. Could this sample help Emmy and get her on her feet. Her only option is life in a wheelchair.

Throughout the action of the mission, the danger, the pain and medical procedure these two found love.

I'm fairly new to this author so I don't know the team and their past. You can read this story as a stand alone, but I'm looking forward to going back and exploring previous stories and missions.

A RAPTOR operative who wants revenge.
A doctor who has vowed to first do no harm.
The ultimate clash of what they both believe in.

Emersyn Copeland has been on the hunt for the man who betrayed all she had trained to do. So close to capturing him, she’ll stop at nothing, even when her ability to walk is at stake. When her body gives out, she is compelled to turn to the one man who brings her a glimmer of hope in terms of walking without pain again.

Chase Nicholas was trained as a doctor in the Army. He was selected to become part of a special medical unit established to develop drugs and prosthetics to enhance wounded soldiers’ abilities and create a stronger more powerful Army. It is a matter of pride for him. What he didn’t know is that he wasn’t the finish line for these drugs, there was an underground team taking his work and producing something more powerful – more lethal. Accidentally using it on Emmy changes both of their worlds forever.

Will the military stop Chase before he can reengage both Emersyn's trust and her heart?

The team of RAPTOR are on a mission to rescue women held captive for trafficking. When people in power are involved it's a dreadfully scary situation. Money and power can buy murder. Hope is in terrible danger after overhearing and recording conversations. She needs enough evidence to take down the head of the snake. Creed Rowan is her rescuer, he and his team are keeping her and her family safe. OMG the action, the drama, the chemistry to lighten the dark. All of these emotions made for one fast paced, glued to your kindle type of story. I loved it and highly recommend this series.

A former SEAL on a life changing mission.
A congressional aide caught up in the underworld of greed.
The explosive culmination of secrets, lies, and salvation.

Former SEAL, Creed Rowan, rescued a beautiful captive on a yacht during a mission, but there’s more to his rescue than meets the eye. She’s the connection RAPTOR needs to stop an international exchange and save the lives of hundreds of women.

Hope Dumond’s life as a congressional aide in Washington, as ugly as it was, never prepared her for being kidnapped and within minutes of being sold as a sex slave. When her rescuer is also handsome, smart, and incredibly capable of exposing those responsible, she jumps at the chance to tell him all the secrets she’s uncovered. As they compile a mountain of evidence against these despicable humans, Hope longs for revenge against those responsible for trying to take her life.

Will Creed’s new mission become HEALING HOPE?
