I'll start by saying this book is so bloody long, and yet not boring.

It was an extremely rough week for me with two funerals and I was so grateful to have such an uplifting story. I'm Aussie so the slang wasn't new to me and I just 'got it'. This has a great storyline and highly amusing characters. Not sure who I liked better, leather jacket or kilt wearing Scots. Tucker was more than just a cocky guy, he had many layers to his personality. Ophelia, well her baggage is heart breaking. I truly loved their journey of love. Fast and yet real. I highly recommend this Rom Com, it was a fun read.

What happens when an ex-military, cocky musician meets a sassy ex-bounty hunter? Sparks will fly.

Tucker Royal was born cocky.
Tall, bearded, and rock star handsome, he is only looking to order two coffees to-go when he walks into Peace Café.
Instead, Tucker leaves with a pocket-rocket spitfire in his arms, returning her safely to Temecula wine country after their meet-cute takes a turn for the worse.
Ophelia doesn’t date. She’s in a committed relationship, working on herself and her soon-to-be-open tiny house Airbnb business, the Fainting Goat Ranch.
Tucker wants a date.
There is a non-date in their future—which in no way gets classified as a date—an ambush is more like it, assisted by Ophelia’s cousin and his wife. It leads to Tucker bringing his secret weapon—his sisters—into play.
The more time spent in Tucker’s witty, banter-filled company, the more she could see the man underneath.
But Ophelia’s guarding a painful secret. In her eyes, love can only wreck you.
It’s a good thing for Ophelia that Tucker’s leaving for a ten-week vacation with his sisters. Things can get back to normal because Gwendoline, her boom box-loving, curvy Aussie BFF, arrives to keep her company and help her run the Airbnb.
Tucker’s vacation turns into a spontaneous secret mission, going off the grid, keeping communication open only with his trusted best friend, Shamus MacDougall.
Tucker finds creative ways to court Ophelia from afar, using his Scottish friends as allies—the Mighty MacDougalls—with hilarious results.
Until trouble comes Ophelia’s way.
Are they fated to be ships in the night, with Ophelia’s secret forever hidden, or can they find their way into each other’s arms, no matter the cost?

This is a great introduction to a few authors I haven't read before along with others that I enjoy. Thirteen stories of men or women who Reign, some legally and others not. Here you'll find something for everyone.

Runaway Princess by Corinne Mazille - Sofia and Jett, do opposites attract? She's a rich heiress and he rides a mechanic and business owner. He's also her knight in shining leather as she flees her wedding. A fun story, I enjoyed it.

Illusive - The Exiled Eight MC by Addison Jane
Not read this author before and it took me a little time to get into the story. Alternating view points of the two main characters. Single mum of a teen she has a secret past hidden. Entertaining story.

Little Bird by Kally Ash
This was is a bit of a tease as it's unfinished with plenty more to come.

Kings Gambit by Emma James
This is a fave author of mine, I really enjoy her writing style.
Queenie is in trouble and she didn't even know it...or why.
I'm a fan of paranormal and this just had a hint, more a secret. Queenie is a good person and Bradford a billionaire playboy, he just hadn't found the right woman. Like her guardian angel he swoops in to save the day, with the help of some interesting acquaintances.

StarDust by Leesa Bow
My first read by this author, not unknown though as I am a stalker.
Footy, well I can't escape that living in Melbourne. A troubled player living with guilt falls off the rails on the anniversary of his father's death. Star is she the woman for him, he's not into relationships and she could be trouble.
I enjoyed the insight into his family life knowing he's not all bad. Great love story for these two.

Queen of the V by Liz Lovelock
I had no idea what the V meant, it sure wasn't what I guessed. This woman has her potential boyfriends crossing their legs and running for their lives when she reveals her job. An accidental meeting as part of a joke has her including him as a fake boyfriend to appease her mother. Their fake relationship was fun and I enjoyed their journey.

Three's a crown by JA Low
This was a fun modern day fairytale. Prince who loves his bodyguard is pressured to take a wife for his Kingdom. She'll need to be accepting and understanding of his lifestyle. This was a dirty romp and I'm glad I'm on leave and not reading on the train.

The trouble with love by Kat T. Masen
I haven't read this author before so I don't know the characters and the ending left me hanging but I still enjoyed the story. The characters were entertaining and I look forward to finding out what happens next.

The Unwanted Crown by KE Osborn
Hadn't read this author before either. Innocence in a world of mobsters. She knew nothing of her father's secret life and now she's pulled into it.

Surrendered Hearts by Nina Levine
Great short story, love a strong woman and the sizzling connection with her man. I look forward to discovering more of this author's work.

The Marriage Claim by Evie Mitchell
Another new to me author. Great characters, I look forward to discovering more.

They say that power corrupts.
But love heals all wounds.

Long may they reign...

You find them in the boardroom. The throne room. The bedroom.
They burn brighter than the rest.
They wield power as easily as they breathe.
They stop at nothing to get what they want.

Royalty, CEOs, mafia kings, demons, and more.
When love conquers, will they fall to their knees for the person they can't live without?

Reign is a collection of thirteen brand new romance novellas featuring men and women who rule their empires but not their hearts.
