Wonderful story

I was so happy to see the series title on here knowing that there will be more. This was a wonderful start with the eldest brother Ryder. Ryder runs a family construction business along with his 2 brothers. His sister has a food business and is struggling with life after the death of her husband.
Penny has moved home to her grandma to help with her younger brother after her mother has moved on again.
She's a chef who is very guarded after her last boyfriend turned violent.
This is their story of love and interfering families. Survival after childhood trauma's and finding trust in each other.
Ryder is a very swoonworthy character, just what Penny needed.
I really enjoyed their story so much.

My fave part:
I stared at him, knowing I wore a stupid, goofy smile. "And what exactly would I be saying yes to?"
His smile matched mine. "Only everything."

No one is going to convince her to fall in love again...

What a gorgeous setting this story was set in, though I had better than my imagination as I've seen this authors pics on her social media.
The story was easy to read, I settled in and laughed with the characters. They were real, flaws and all and you want them all to have their happy endings.
Fantastic story, I highly recommend it.

Anna's sister Wendy is heavily pregnant with a litter...ok triplets and can't stop meddling in Anna's life. She means well, she practically raised her since she was born.
Owen enters the picture as the nephew of the gold coins owner, he wants to know where the entire collection and an expensive necklace are. The hunt is on to prove her father's innocence while ignoring the chemistry with this annoying man.
The banter between them and the sisters had me chuckling throughout this story.
I have to admit at the beginning I had doubts about this story despite loving this author. However, it really kicked off and I became invested in the characters and their quest.
Wonderful story, I highly recommend it and this author.

What an amazing story teller this author is. I was invested in the characters from the first pages. The book didn't need steam and action it was full of life and emotions. Not to mention fun, the animals almost stole the show here. Luna and Jameson co own this farm and its staff of crazy misfits. A place for community, love and fun. Rescue animals to tug at your heartstrings and the reality of running in the red. How can they fix this before losing their property? Once you get to know Luna then you'll know it will involve a village. The Bright Spot was an absolute pleasure to read and I highly recommend it.

Such a wonderful story teller, I dove into this story and felt like I was living it. The smells, the sights, the emotions....sigh.

Harper has moved to her last happy place to open a bakery. Bodie is fighting his own demons making him grumpy and yet I watched the author just peel back the layers. All the characters were real, it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine making for an interesting story.

A teenage runaway had the most secrets of all. Let's not forget the comic relief here, a wonderful dog.

It's winter down here so no beach read for me but I enjoyed reading it by the fireside.
I highly recommend this story, it stands alone but the series is so awesome so you'll want to try it.
