Bone Lake: An absolutely gripping, heart-pounding and twisty mystery and suspense thriller (Nikki Hunt Book 8)

 by Stacy Green

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I forgot I had this one on my kindle. I have read another series by this author but not this one, guess I should go back to book 1 and start over. The story stands alone though I know I'm missing character growth.

A murder from two decades ago was bungled by the authorities and a documentary is bringing other clues to life.

Another murder in the same house,  is it connected or a coincidence. Nikki and her team are on the hunt for a missing girl. The bodies are piling up, why were they killed? Did they find out something?

I had no idea, the author did such a great job spinning my head. I really enjoyed watching the pieces fall into place, although there was a heart stopping moment at the end. Will they all come out of this alive?

Great story, I highly recommend it.

Broken flowers drift on the foggy surface of the water. All is quiet, until the squad of police cruisers race up to the grand house that stands alone on the lakeside. Two girls lie inside, their bodies broken and still forever…

When
Special Agent Nikki Hunt is called to a home on Bone Lake, she is devastated to find blood all over the floor and two young women who clearly fought for their lives. But the viciousness of the scene isn’t the only thing that strikes Nikki. The house was the scene of another murder twenty years ago. The killer was never caught. Is this a terrible coincidence, or have they struck again?

Nikki’s team quickly identify the girls from their belongings in the bedrooms upstairs. They had a party the night they were killed, and Nikki realizes that one attendee, their friend
Alexia, is missing…

Desperate to find Alexia, Nikki soon discovers that the only survivor of the original massacre, Matt Kline, still owns the house. She is instantly suspicious of him. But he claims he rents it out and hasn’t been there for years, and as Nikki looks into his dark eyes she sees her own terrible past.

With time running out, Nikki and her team dig into Alexia’s life, and find out she was fascinated with the original Bone Lake case. Amongst her things, they find notebook after notebook about serial killers. Then Nikki is shocked to learn that Alexia was having a relationship with Matt. Has Nikki make a terrible mistake trusting a fellow survivor?
And can she get the truth out of him, and find Alexia alive, before it’s too late?

You’ll be glued to the pages of this heart-racing new thriller in the Nikki Hunt series. Fans of Lisa Regan, Mary Burton and Kendra Elliot will be gripped by the twists in this incredible read.

Lucy Kendall Crime Thrillers - 4 stories

The Girl in the Cabin: https://geni.us/B0BMB3MH9Bsocial

The Girl in the Pink Shoes 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Holy Moly I had no idea who the baddie was or how many players were in this story. On a hot 38c/100f Aussie Summer day I just settled on the couch and read this story straight through. I must say I'm already looking forward to reading much more of this series. PI Lucy is one kicka#e heroine, though perhaps bad for good reasons too. Question is do I love her or hate her, time will tell. The characters had so many connections as the author brilliantly wove this tale, I was thinking omg, it's him...no it's him...oh it's her...nope it's someone else and my head was spinning. Fantastic story, great characters and a well written plot. Bring on book 2....oh wait it's on my kindle :)

Little Lost Souls 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Lucy Kendall, PI and viligante is on a mission. To rid the city of the monsters that take children, though evil is a lot bigger than her. Even though her morals are in question, you still want her to win the battle. Someone in power in trying to frame her as she is obviously getting too close to the truth.
This is one dark and disturbing storyline, I can't wait to the next story to see where the author is taking Lucy.

The Girl in the Cabin 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I’m really enjoying this series. Lucy is our main character and her past baggage has make her what she is. Will the darkness take over her personality?
Her friend Chris is in trouble, she hears a gun shot over the phone and the chase is on. What has he gotten into? It seems he is more than he has revealed and she will have doubts about him.
The local police and the FBI are on the case. Chris is with his mother, the serial killer....just whose side is her on?
There are a lot of layers to this story and I enjoyed everyone that was peeled back. This story should be read after the first 2 to have an understanding of character growth and the murders surrounding them.
I really can't wait to see how book 4 plays out now.

The Lonely Girls 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Oh my goodness, what an ending to these 4 books that I binged. I didn't see it coming though I thought them odd.
The plot was brilliant, charactes all brought together in a horrifying way. The race before time ran out was crazy. I was annoyed to put my kindle away when I arrived at work.
I've loved this series, Lucy both annoyed me and yet I loved her. Her morals were skewed but for all the right reasons. Plenty of emotions in this tale.
I highly recommed this story but strongly suggest you start from the beginning.
