Text Appeal

 by Kylie Scott

🌟🌟🌟🌟

Small town life where everybody knows your business. Conner and his ex Ava had been on and off since they were teens. Only he'd had a enough and fell into a fake romance with the new girl in town.
This was their story trying to fool the town only they didn't expect reality. Would they fall apart or have a happy ending.
It's a light fun read.

Love enters the chat in this hilarious, heartfelt rom com by New York Times bestselling and Audie award-winning author Kylie Scott.

Romance author Riley Cooper always dreamed of living by the water. But within a day of landing in the charming seaside town of Port Stewart to work on her latest book, she's getting calls and texts for some dude on her new number. Weird ones. Sad ones. Sexy ones. Ones that make her want to meet him. For curiosity's sake...if nothing else.

After years of being on-again, off-again with his high school sweetheart, all Connor wants is to move on with his life. If only everyone in Port Stewart would let him. What he needs is to be seen with someone else. So when fate puts him in the path of the new girl in town who got his old number, faking it together seems like the perfect solution.

Spending time with the gorgeous former prom king might be great research for Riley’s romance writing…if only she can keep her feelings in check. But the more she gets to know him, the harder she’s falling. Can their serendipitous meeting turn into something real and true?

End of Story

 by Kylie Scott

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This story kept me entertained through COVID, what a week it's been and this cheered me no end. I laughed my way through this book from beginning to end. Susie inherits her aunt's home and sets about modernising it...or rather taking away the ugly after 3 generations. I loved the little spooky mystery with the finding in the wall and I have my doubts about that cat...or Kat. Lars is her ex's friend, her friend too. The huge Viking is also her handyman slowly bringing her house to life... and her ladybits. Their chemistry sizzled but their banter even better. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the brilliance of the author's storytelling skills.

New York Times bestselling sensation Kylie Scott’s sexy, smart and unconventional opposites-attract love story looks at what happens when fate refuses to give up on what’s meant to be…

When Susie Bowen inherits a charming fixer-upper from her aunt, she’s excited to start living her best HGTV life. But when she opens the door to find that her contractor is none other than her ex’s best friend, Lars—the same man who witnessed their humiliating public breakup six months ago—she isn’t exactly eager to have anyone around whose alliance is with the enemy. But beggars can’t be choosers, and the sooner the repairs are done, the sooner she can get back to embracing singledom.

Things go from awkward to unbelievable when Lars discovers a divorce certificate hidden in a wall and dated ten years in the future—with both their names on it. It couldn’t possibly be real…could it? As Susie and Lars work to unravel the document’s origins, the impossibility of a spark between them suddenly doesn’t seem so far-fetched. But would a relationship between them be doomed before it’s even begun?

Famous in a Small Town

 by Kylie Scott

5 stars

What a great read with easy to love characters.
Garrett is in mourning for his wife, it's been 2 years and he moves to their planned retirement home in a small town. His neighbour Ani is a fan and yet respectful, she has baggage of her own. As a small town the community look after each other, is he ready to come out of hiding and be part of the town?
Kylie does rock stars so well, even though it wasn't about touring it was real.
I enjoyed Garrett and Ani together, she wasn't part of that world and yet they could build a future.
Brilliant read, I hope there's more.

What chance does a small-town girl have with a world-famous rock star?

Two years after his wife’s death, rock star Garrett Hayes hasn’t moved on. But he has moved out of L.A. Where better to escape his past than a small town in the northern California mountains? If only he could get the townsfolk of Wildwood to leave him the hell alone.

Ani Bennet returned to her hometown for some much-needed serenity. The last thing she needs is a grumpy, too hot for his own good, rich and famous rock star living next door—and rent-free in her brain.

She set her fangirl tendencies aside and deleted his photo from her cell when they became neighbors. But when Garrett asks for help, she can’t say no. The problem is, spending time together is making those fangirl feelings resurface—and bringing them to a whole new level.

What chance does a small-town girl have with world-famous rock star? It’s time for Ani to set her fears aside and find out.

The Rhythm Method: A Stage Dive Novella

 by Kylie Scott

This was short and so real.
Having a baby is not easy and the author was not afraid to hold back on reality.
We get a glimpse of our fave characters and how their lives are going.
This is David and Ev's story and their surprise miracle. Not even time to plan, their lives were turned upside down.
It's a short, entertaining read but I love these characters and their lives.

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kylie Scott comes a new story in her Stage Dive series…

It all started in Vegas...

After a wild and tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Evelyn Thomas and her rock star husband David Ferris have been happily married for years. Nothing needs to change, their life together is perfect. Which means that change in the shape of an unexpected pregnancy is bound to shake things up some. But could it be for the better?

**Every 1001 Dark Nights novella is a standalone story. For new readers, it’s an introduction to an author’s world. And for fans, it’s a bonus book in the author’s series. We hope you'll enjoy each one as much as we do.**

Pause

 by Kylie Scott

5 stars
I got to the end and just sighed. This girl had been through so much, and so needed her happy ending, not to forget so did he.
Anna and Leif, brought together as the result of a traffic accident. While comatose her husband proved what a weak, selfish man he was. Her best friend, well she's trash too.
Slowly Anna learned to trust again, to live again and love again. Leif was in her life as a cuddly friend, then house mate followed by so much more. Their journey was a joy to read. Karma will surely get her cheating ex and ex bff. Last twist toward the end I didn't see coming.
Absolutely loved this story.

An unpauseable new romance from New York Times bestselling, Audie Award winning author Kylie Scott!

When Anna wakes up from a coma after a car crash, she discovers life has gone on without her. Her husband has been unfaithful—with her best friend—and she’s been long since replaced at work. While her old life is a distant memory, her new life feels like an empty shell. Then she meets the stranger who saved her life during the crash, and he changes everything.

Leif Larsen—tattooist, joker, and player—has his own scars thanks to the crash that put Anna in a coma. Helping her move on from her failed marriage, and create a new life, sounds like a perfect distraction. So when he needs a new roommate, he invites Anna to begin her new life with him.

Although their lives may have been put on pause, together they just might find a way to heal.

Great storyline and wonderful, likeable characters.
He was perfect in every way, too bad he was just a great actor and their romance was fake...or was it?
Patrick was involved in a public scandal and his reputation ruined. Norah is a waitress among other things and the perfect woman to help put his life back together. It was all about the money for her, in a good way though as she was looking after her grandmother.
They couldn't be as plastic as Barbie and Ken forever though, human beings have feelings.
This was a fast read, I just sank right in and enjoyed the ride. It was light, fun and overall thoroughly enjoyable.

The newest romance from New York Times bestselling, Audie Award winning author Kylie Scott!

He walks the red carpet. She’s more familiar with vacuuming one.

When a scandal tarnishes the reputation of hot as hell A-lister, Patrick Walsh, he needs a reputation rescue, pronto.

Enter waitress Norah Peers–a nobody who’s average with a capital A. She’s available, dependable, and has sworn off men for the rest of her natural born life. In other words: the perfect match for a no-strings fake romance.

For the right amount of money, she can avoid waitressing and play the part of his dependable down-to-earth girlfriend. What she can’t avoid–dammit–is the growing steam between them.

But being hounded by the paparazzi and having her life dissected on social media is a panic attack in the making. And while Patrick might be a charming rogue on screen, in real life he’s a six-foot-two confusing, gorgeous, brooding grump, who keeps her at a distance . . . but also makes her feel like this bond between them might be more than just an act.

Being dumped on cue should be no big deal. Except being fake with Patrick is the realist relationship Norah has ever had. What’s a girl to do, but flip the script, and ask for a re-match made in Hollywood?
