I saw the advice from others that I should read the first book, but I have a terrible memory anyway. I read the blurb and a few reviews and felt I had enough back story not to get lost.
Maggie was on a mission, despite being kidnapped there she was determined to go back and help the people. Leaving behind a small daughter along with her partner Brady a SEAL who had connections if anything should go wrong. I enjoyed hearing about their home life, a simple country life raising flora and fauna.
There is trouble in Mexico and citizens are being held at the airport. Trouble is on the way so who will arrive first, the militia or Brady and his fellow warriors?
I have to say I didn't like Maggie, she seemed quite selfish and uncaring for her life that affected everyone else. Thank you to the author who pulled me into this story and made me 'feel'.
