What a fun story with wonderful characters, I loved every moment. Dylan and Harper met at a party, there was an instant attraction but neither wanted a relationship. Could they deny it when the heart is involved? When Harper takes a trip, circumstances bring them back together. This time for longer than one night. A small town full of characters that involve each other in their lives. He's former military, a loner and yet a good guy. She's slowly taking over his home while stuck in town. I loved their banter, their fun and their loving moments. You just know this alpha dude is going to fall hard. Great story, I highly recommend it.

This author has such a cruisy way of writing, just relax and settle in for a ride. We once again meet the Monstrum Kindred, a rather furry one. Combined with a 'stiff upper lip' mature British woman, could their connection possibly work? Thrown together to save the world, they are in for the adventure of their lives.
I love the planets, the creatures, the customs and the food this author creates in her worlds.
This is such a fun story, I highly recommend it.

This is my first time reading this author, I know it's #13 in a series, my bad. The story plotline stands alone, though I realise I've missed all the character growth. 2022 will be my year to go back to the beginning as I'm hooked. Detective Josie Quinn is quite well known so I'm guessing she's solved some high profile cases. She and her husband were such likeable characters. I want to know more about them. The story seemed so fresh, so I'm guessing the previous 12 books were just as good. I loved that I had no idea whodunnit or why and the author wove this tale so well. Great story, I highly recommend it.

I haven't read any of this series or the previous ones this spun off from. It pretty much stood alone and I worked out the characters as I went along. Pepper and Auggie seemed to be a well matched couple along with her daughter Juno. At the beginning it didn't seem like they would make it. She wasn't ready and was a package deal. Both of them had some major baggage with their families and deserved their HEA. There's a trace of suspense as the story started to draw to a close. A lot more going on then I know about with a hint of more to follow. Good story, bit long winded at times but I still enjoyed it.
