5 star tale of heart stopping moments

 This is book #5, oh no I need to go back and find the first 4. The story stands alone though and I got to know the characters. Detective Ellie Reeves, a woman on a mission who would not give up until she solved this hideous crime.

 Such a heart racing story, the thought of your child missing would give any parent nightmares. Where is she? Is it related to other missing children? The author threw in a couple of red herrings and I loved that I had no clue until close to the end. An absolutely fabulous tale of suspense, I highly recommend it. #StolenAngels #NetGalley

5 stars, totally glued to my kindle 

I've read books 2 and 4 and the stories stand alone, I'm just missing some character growth so will go back and catch up. Piper is a female operative, she has a military injury but she's still kick a$$. She hooks up with football player Royce, to eavesdrop details regarding her mission. She didn't expect feelings to get involved. Child trafficking, what an ugly crime. How is the football club involved and who is running the ring? Great story, I couldn't put it down.

A female operative who hunts down pedophiles.
A football star with everything to lose. 
And a game that threatens to tear it all apart.

Wonderful story

I loved this romance, the story wasn't without drama but it was such a feel good story.

It's been a long time since I've read a 'were' book. This is a little darker than the norm but I'll read anything this author writes. Jacob and Anastasia are step siblings, both attracted to each other but it's taboo. In the eyes of the 'were' they are related. He's from a Royal bloodline and she has found out as a young adult, convinced it's madness and a cult. The worshippers of the moon are a group that are convinced in the belief of a prophecy. Jake and Ani are kidnapped and their world turned upside down. I really enjoyed this story but I just wanted more at the end in regards to his father. But my imagination will have to suffice.

I don't think this author ever does a boring story. I sank right into this one. I loved all the characters and their back stories.
This book starts with a heart stopping moment, the sort of near death event that could start or break a relationship. Levi and Jane are destined for each other. Her emotional baggage is just waiting for the right guy to break it down. If he can't do it his family sure well, what a cracker that lot is.
I love that this book is the first in a series, as I can't wait for more.
I don't know anything about Lake Tahoe but google says there are bodies at the bottom. You know I'm expected a haunting one sooner or later lol
Great author, always does a fabulous tale. I highly recommend it.

What a great book to start 2022 with, also this is one of my favourite series. Abby is a cop and Leon a college prof but also a former cop. He's connected to her case via a victim or two.
