 Awesome collection

What an awesome set of books this is. I read them individually when they first came out.

Curveball: I've already fallen in love with this new series. These three sisters are tight and this book mainly focuses on the eldest Madelyn. Maddie and her sisters are starting over in a new school without a women's baseball team so they join the boys...yeah that goes down well.
Holden (think arrogant jock..at least on the surface) is intrigued by Maddie so to annoy her goes after her sister. Will it be sisters before misters or trouble?
What's going on in this small town with thefts and assault on the school grounds? Is it the obvious bad boy family or someone else?
A little bit of mystery, drama and not too much teen angst made for a brilliant easy to read story. I'm really looking forward to the other sister's stories.

Strike Out: I'm loving this series, but the ending.....arggghhhh when's the next one out?
This book runs parallel along side the first book, this is the second sister Max's story. Her secret romance with both a guy and a guitar. Her family think she is playing baseball, but she's growing up and pursuing her own dreams. She gets caught up in some scary drama and her father cracks the whip in fear. I can't wait to read the 3rd sister's story as I have a feeling she's also rebelling.
Bravo Jordan Ford, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and this series and highly recommend it.

Foul Play: I think this might be my new fave series by this author, even though I adored the BigPlay novels.
This is the 3rd book and ran parallel with the first two, they linked so well and offered closure on some points from the other two books.
This one had not only young love but a lot of suspense, drama and danger happening.
I loved this allegedly bad boy and his softer side. The reasons for his actions and behaviour and the influence that Chloe had on him.
Epilogues...yes more than one. I loved seeing all of them a year later, evolving into adulthood. Thank you Jordan for this wonderful trilogy. I loved it and highly recommend it, but start at book 1.

The Christmas Novella: This novel was short and sweet and I really want to know what happens to these characters next. These two young characters were meant for each other. From different cultures it was never going to be easy. His past and her parents, will these issues stand in their way? I could see what was coming, it was relatable, so young and their lives about to change...for better or worse, you be the judge. I enjoyed it and recommend this series for the lives of the other characters.

What a magnificent journey this story took me on. I haven't been up the coast to these places since the mid 80s and I'm sure a lot has changed. I feel like I've just had not only a geography lesson but a history one too. The characters were wonderful both past and present as the story intertwined between modern day and her great grandparents' lives around 80 years before. A mystery to solve brought us back to today and a wonderful discovery. Beth is a competent, experienced skipper, the sea runs through her veins from generations past. Greed, crime and sabotage had me reading faster and faster to work out who was causing this. I was teary a few times and anxious towards the end, who will survive? If you love a great mystery, suspense and not to mention love then I highly recommend this tale of intrigue.

What a great opportunity to have 3 of this author's books all in one set. I'm never disappointed and always love her wonderful stories. I've previously read 2 and look forward to catching up with the other story.

Holiday Wishes: Short and sweet second chance romance at Christmas time. I don't know this series so I'll go read them when I get a chance. Snowed in ready to attend a wedding finds two high school sweethearts grown up and thrown together. Is the chemistry still there? Will they make it this time? I really enjoyed this story and wished it were longer.

Mistletoe in Paradise: An entertaining second chance romance between life long friends, Hannah and James. As children they were friends, as teens it was more though they were both set on their own paths and too immature to compromise. The death of his brother caused major ripples in their friendship and set them apart. Her stepdad has traditionally taken the family on his boat and this Christmas these two will find themselves rediscovering each other. It's pr0bably too short but with Ms Shalvis's books I always want more anyway. A very well written and fun read, wonderful characters and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Three fan-favorite Jill Shalvis novellas are together for the first time in this holiday anthology!

 Second chance for love

I really enjoy this author's writing, it flows so smoothly. You'll just absorb yourself into this small town and it's characters including Santa and next thing you know your kindle smacks you in the face as it's past your bedtime.
I got to know the characters more in this Christmas romance and the town that's grown on me. It's not just about small town gossip and judgemental people, it's how a village takes care of it's own.
I really enjoyed Ryan the baseball player and Jane the young widow's story along with her son Henry and Kringle the stray dog, and the rest of the family. They all deserved their second chance at love and life.
Great story, I highly recommend it.

This is a new type of Kindred, another Universe and more scary creatures along with the Kindred.
