Lance: A Hathaway House Heartwarming Romance

 by Dale Mayer

Amazon

This series keeps on entertaining us. Hathaway House, I wonder if places like this exist. What an example of positive healing it offers.
Lance is our latest injured hero trying to get his life and body back together. Miserable and feeling at a standstill his mates encourage him to come.
Jessica, a nurse there catches his eye. Chemistry is there and their connection sweet.
The power of healing for Lance was music, I wished I could hear it. Beautiful story, wonderful characters and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Welcome to Hathaway House. Rehab Center. Safe Haven. Second chance at life and love.

Lance Mayfair sought out Hathaway House at the recommendation of a friend, who told him it was an answer to his prayer. Lance knows more about prayers than answers, but, if he can see progress in one particular area of his life and health, it will be worth the effort and the pain. He’ll do anything he can to play music again. It’s all he has left now that his days as a Navy SEAL are over and, with them, any chance of a happy, productive life.

However, the shoulder injury that ended his career pretty much guarantees he’ll never play his beloved instruments ever again.

Unless Hathaway House and Jessica can work a miracle.

Jessica has worked with many patients at Hathaway House, but she connects with Lance in a way she didn’t with any of the others. She can see the need inside him—his desire to create again, to heal through music. And his goal becomes her goal: to see him play music in his soul again.

Only his music isn’t all he wants or needs, and making him happy goes a long way to making her happy, but it’s not enough. Both want and need so much more.

Lawson & Jill: Romantic Suspense (Night Storm Legacy Book 1)

 by Caitlyn O'Leary

Out of October 31st - Amazon

Caitlyn's heroes are always swoon worthy. Lawson carried the grief of his brother's death, it affected his life and decisions. Jill's grief was over her cousin, almost a sister. Both meeting at a counselling group, coffee turned into so much more and sparks sizzled. I enjoyed the slow burn of their impending romance. When danger stalked her we watch Law go all macho and protective, this Marine Raider was deadly serious in his security measures for her. This was a wonderful story and had likeable characters, I absolutely loved it.

Can Love Heal Heartbreak?

Sick and tired of being sick and tired, Lawson Thorne knows he needs help, but it’s difficult for a Marine Raider to admit. But seeing someone you love, someone so strong, break? Makes a man think hard about walking a different path.

Jill Keiler knows heartache, up close and personal. She has closed in on herself, and she doesn’t know how to open up anymore. When she sees Law, she immediately knows he’s a kindred spirit.

Can two people who have been through the fire find solace in one another’s arms? Perhaps even find laughter again? But if they are lucky enough to find the other half of their soul, will one madman slaughter their dreams.

NOTE: 10,000 words have been added since release in Danger & Desire Anthology.

Breaking Away (Delta Force Strong Book 3)

 by Elle James

Amazon Link

I read a condensed version of this story in the Danger and Desire anthology last month. I read so much and have a dreadful memory for stories after I'm done, which in this case was great because I forgot the ending lol.
A Delta hero and a war correspondent, she is someone from his past. Can they have their second chance? Compromise will be needed for a relationship as both are rarely home. Is he ready to retire or is she ready to pull back and fulfill her dream of family.
The extras in this edition gave us a lot of action and danger, I just couldn't put it down.
Great story, brilliant plot, I loved it.

Delta Force Operative Sean “Mac” McDaniels fell in love early on in his Army career. The girl, though she loved him, wanted to pursue her career in journalism before she settled down and married. Knowing he couldn’t hold her back, he let her go. In the years to come, no other woman ever held that place in his heart.

Kylie Adams loved Mac but chose to pursue her love of journalism first. Years later, she’s wondering if she made the wrong choice. A successful war correspondent in Afghanistan, she’s on the cusp of wanting more out of life than a career. Tagging along on an extraction mission with the Army, she ends up killing the brother of a high-powered Taliban leader. This action earns her a price on her head. Assigned a protector until she can get out of the country, she’s pleased that it’s a Delta Force soldier, her first love, Mac.

Together they navigate a war-torn country and their own feelings for each other. If they live through the terror, they might buy themselves a second chance at love.

Note: A shorter version of this story was released in the Danger & Desire Anthology. It has been expanded with added scenes for your reading pleasure.

Montana Marine: Brotherhood Protectors World

 by Debra Parmley

Amazon

This is one of my favourite 'worlds' to read.
Jack and his team are hired as bodyguards to a celebrity and her assistant. Someone is stalking her and seems to know her every move. What is the secret to how is this stalker finding them in the middle of nowhere? The story was short and too the point, although I didn't get much of a feel for the romance happening I'll use my imagination.
This was a great lunchtime read on my lazy Sunday.
An enjoyable read, twist of events towards the end will have you sit up and wonder if someone will survive.

Marine Recon Gunnery Sergeant Jack “Gunny” Barr has retired and returned to Texas when he’s hired by The Brotherhood Protectors bodyguard service in Montana. His job is to protect the volatile actress Angelica Glory. She’s a bombshell and an obsessive stalker has fixated on her as a target. Lucy Wood, her shy assistant, has her hands full watching out for her. When the women are sent to Montana to lay low until the stalker is caught, Angelica has nothing to do but lay by the pool drinking rum and cola while trying to seduce the hunky bodyguard set to protect them or die trying. Jack and Lucy are drawn to each other, but working for Angelia leaves little time to see where their desires might lead. A dangerous stalker with a love obsession is determined to have the woman of his dreams.

The Runaway (Barrett Boys Book 1)

 by Jordan Ford

pre order link for Nov 20th

The hardest thing about starting a new series is getting all the characters straight in my head then wondering who I'm going to love to hate. Well that part wasn't hard at all and I was hoping for karma.
First Barrett boy up is Michael, he's had a hard life and fallen into the wrong crowd. Circumstances have him landing in a small town where he meets Annie. They understand each other, their connection being fear in their homes. Their romance was sweet, both were young and deserving of better lives.
Many secrets to uncover in this story as we progress, and the author strips back the layers. A burst of action, who is going to survive this mess?
Ms Ford's writing style will have you reading 'just one more chapter' until it's over. Your heart is beating fast and you can't believe it's done. I want book 2 immediately.
It does not end on a cliff hanger, just a tease of what's to come.

He’s on the hunt for a fresh start. She’s trapped in a nightmare she can’t escape. Can love help them make a break for freedom?

Michael:
The money was supposed to save me...until it got me shot. You don’t steal from Marlo Sloan.
But it led me to her.

Annie’s kind. She’s fierce. She’s making me want to be the man my grandpa believed I could be. A Barrett - strong, dependable. A hero.

Danger is coming. It’s inevitable.
I should split before it catches up with me.
But how can I leave Annie and her little brother with their psycho father?

I want to steal her away from this nightmare. Take her to the ranch where I know she’d be safe. But I’m a runaway thief, and the ranch is no doubt a desolate wreck.
She deserves better than that.
I have to tell her the truth. Which means she’ll never look at me the same again. I could lose her over this, when all I want to do is keep her safe.

Grandpa always said, “Barrett boys do the right thing. They don’t cut and run. They stand. They fight to protect the ones they love.”
I was raised to be a Barrett boy.
It’s time I start acting like one.

The Runaway is the first book in a thrilling YA romance series. If you like fast-paced action, redeemable bad boys and romance that will steal your heart, then you’ll love Jordan Ford’s compelling novel.

The Night Whistler

 by Greg Woodland

Buy Link - Amazon

What an incredible story, very visual and so Aussie. Haven't heard some of that slang since the world became pc. Slow start but it set up the scenery, the towns and the characters well. I could see and smell it all in my mind. Hal was a curious young boy, determined to grow up fast and solve the mystery. Mick the cop was an out of towner and determined to shake things up. More people will die, will it be those two? I had no idea who the killer was or why. Money, corruption and small town cops all stood in the way of solving a serious crime. Great story, especially the last 100 pages that suddenly took off.

The summer of 1966–7. Hal and his little brother have just come to live in Moorabool. They’re exploring the creek near their new home when they find the body of a dog.

Not just dead, but killed.

Not just killed, but horribly maimed.

Constable Mick Goodenough, recently demoted from his big-city job as a detective, is also new in town—and one of his dogs has gone missing. Like other pets around the town.

He knows what it means when someone tortures animals to death. They’re practising. So when Hal’s mother starts getting late-night phone calls—a man whistling, then hanging up—Goodenough, alone among the Moorabool cops, takes her seriously. But will that be enough to keep her and her young sons safe?

Nostalgic yet clear-eyed, simmering with small-town menace, Greg Woodland’s wildly impressive debut populates the rural Australia of the 1960s with memorable characters and almost unbearable tension.

Greg Woodland is an author, screenwriter and director. Since 2000 he’s worked as a freelance script editor and consultant for film funding bodies and the Australian Writers' Guild. The Night Whistler is his first novel.

A quick and fiery read, the chemistry between Emma and Cody leaps off the page...ok, the kindle screen.
Cody sees Emma as his sister Zoe's little friend, Emma is all grown up now and has loved Cody all her life. Emma finds out about Zoe's accident and that she is left in a wheelchair and races home from Europe to care for her. Sexual tension creates animosity between Emma and Cody. Cody is in denial, will he wake up to the fact that his lust is love for Emma too? A terrifying event occurs, could he lose her? Will they all manage to have a HEA?
I highly recommend reading this book, there's a lot packed into it giving you the feels.

Emma has always loved Cody, but he sees her as nothing more than his little sister’s friend. To him, she’s a stubborn, annoying, pain in the ass.

When the opportunity arises, she flees to Europe, hoping to get over the man who has always held a part of her heart.

Four years later, when she returns, she finds nothing between them has changed. While she loves Cody with every part of her being, it soon becomes clear he is barely able to tolerate her.

Insisting on caring for Zoe, who has been left in a wheelchair after an accident, Emma moves onto the ranch.

Cody confides to his foreman and ranch hand, his life with her there every day was about to become a living hell.

Arguments. Threats. Fights. Will these two ever strike an understanding that will allow everyone around them to relax?

Will Cody realize his feelings too late?

Will Emma’s Always become Forever?

Protecting Summer (SEAL of Protection Book 4)

 by Susan Stoker

Buy Link - Amazon

This author's books are always so easy to read, the story just flows and you forget where you are.
Even through the heart racing moments of this story I knew it would all work out for them. Mozart and Summer are a great couple, she is deserving of a second chance in life and for Mozart it's time to stop being man-whore. Great sweet romance, action, suspense and love will keep you entertained, I loved it.

Felt like a re-read 2 years later, still just as good.

Sam “Mozart” Reed’s life changed the day his little sister was found abused and murdered when he was fifteen. He’s spent the past nineteen years looking for the serial killer who took his sister from him and ruined his family. Using his connections, and SEAL training, Mozart believes he’s finally tracked the killer to the town of Big Bear, California.

Marrying Caroline (SEAL of Protection)

 by Susan Stoker

Buy Link - Amazon

I love Susan's series, I have quite a few gaps so catching up between other ARCs and Beta reading :)

Settle in and get comfy, that's me with a Stoker book. Can't put it down until I'm done. This one is a novella, we catch up with the couples and the amusement of planning a wedding. You just know something is going to happen for all these plans to flop.
This was a fun and yet emotional read, I loved it.

Caroline and Wolf had a wild start to their relationship…plane hijacking, kidnapping, attempted drowning, and a terrorist plot foiled. Now things have calmed down and a wedding is in the works for the couple. By enlisting the help of Wolf’s teammate, Cookie, Caroline is immersed in plans for her dream wedding.

Of course, with their luck, things can never go off without a hitch.

Join Alabama and Abe, Cookie and Fiona, as well as the rest of the SEAL team, as Caroline and Wolf start the rest of their life together.

**Marrying Caroline is book 3.5 in the SEAL of Protection Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s recommended you read the books in order.**

Inflamed: A Love Letters Novel

 by Kristen Blakely

She's known in this small town as "The other woman". Such small town mentality, she's raising a son herself who struggles at school due to parents telling their kids he's bad.
Along comes a new fireman in town, he's younger with baggage of his own. Can they find happiness together? Or will circumstances drive them apart?
I really enjoyed this story, it was full of emotions and thoroughly enjoyable.

here are no happy endings; not for “The Other Woman.”

In a small town, there’s just no way to start over.

Eight years after the worst mistake of my life, my life as a single parent is a grind of exhaustion in between spikes of fatigue—an endless struggle to make ends meet.

But then Sean Orr, Havre de Grace’s newest firefighter, comes to town and shows my son and I a new and beautiful kind of “normal.”

The happiness can’t last—not for Sean who is on the run from his past. When it catches up with him, will it bring my fragile normality crashing down around me, or will I find the strength to finally define my own happy ending?

Protecting Fiona (SEAL of Protection Book 3)

 by Susan Stoker

Amazon

If you love an over the top Alpha hero then you're in the right place...here with me.
No, some of the events seemed a little unrealistic, should she be more traumatised? Probably but this is entertainment not a non-fiction book.
I've loved Cookie since book #1 and I'm so glad he found the 'one' for him too.
Kidnapping, action and plenty of loving. An emotional story with great characters, I loved it.

Hunter “Cookie” Knox was good at his job, infiltrating behind enemy lines was one of his specialties. His SEAL team relied on him to do his job, just as he relied on them to do theirs. Ever since two of his teammates found a woman that completed them, their dangerous Ops seemed a bit more intense. Cookie knew if he had a woman who belonged to him, he’d never let her go. Little did he know the SEAL team’s latest mission to Mexico would change his life forever.

Fiona Storme resigned herself to the fact that it was highly unlikely she would make it out of the jungle alive. Kidnapped by human traffickers, abused, and without family or friends looking for her, Fiona knew wishing for rescue was as realistic as having a big, juicy hamburger fall from the sky. Unbeknownst to Fiona, the SEAL team, including Cookie, were on the way, but their assignment didn't consist of rescuing her.

**Protecting Fiona is the 3rd book in the SEAL of Protection Series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s recommended you read the books in order to get maximum enjoyment out of the series.

Protecting Alabama (SEAL of Protection Book 2)

by Susan Stoker

Buy Link - Amazon - for the rest of the series click on Susan's name for a complete reading list.

I read this book in 2017 and felt like a re-read in 2020.

I made a big mistake, I looked at the one star reviews and prepared to cringe. For all those readers who gave scathing reviews without even finishing the book, doesn't that make you as judgemental as the character?
Both of these characters had less that favourable upbringings, she way more than him. I can't imagine reaching 30 years of age without being loved, friended or cared about. I had many teary moments throughout this story, both happy and sad. Abe disappointed me at one stage, the explanations were plausible though. I felt he could redeem himself. The story captivated me and I look forward to reading about the rest of these SEALs.

EDIT: felt like a re-read 3 years later , still loved it. Characters came with flaws making them real, and I still cried.

Alabama didn’t have a good start to life. Emotionally and physically abused by her mama, Alabama spent her high school years in foster care. People let her down, time after time, and she’d learned to rely on only herself.

Christopher “Abe” Powers earned his nickname because he tolerated nothing less than absolute honesty from the people around him. Finding the bar scene stale and having watched his friend and teammate, Wolf, find the woman of his dreams, Abe was determined to find someone to share his life with too.

Alabama and Abe had no idea their paths would cross and their prayers would be answered, but like most things in life, nothing is ever as easy as it seems at first. Two words would change both their lives and they’d have to fight hard for their happy ever after.

**Protecting Alabama is a stand-alone love story. It’s Book 2 in the SEAL of Protection Series.**

Cocky in a Cowboy Hat (Crossroads Book 3)

 by Em Petrova

Buy Link - Amazon out on October 19

Liberty loses her bid in an auction for her dream ranch...but did she walk away with something better? In her new job the sparks are flying between her and the ranch owner. Should they cross this boundary? I liked that Aiden showed his respect by listening and following through with her opinions. Her nasty ex threw a spanner in the works here and I'm screaming just go to the bank. But the other option made for a more entertaining tale. This was a fun read with great characters, the story stands alone but you'll want to read the others to learn who the others are.

A ranch on the auction block. Two bidders. Only one can win.

Liberty Baker’s dream to raise horses and settle in the small town of Crossroads all comes down to an auction bid. Within heartbeats, her dreams crash and burn as Mr. Bulging Pockets steps in and swipes the ranch out from under her. The fact he’s a hunky bachelor—with an icy blue stare so direct she feels it in places no woman ever should—only makes things worse when he proposes that she should become his ranch hand.

She has an idea of the kind of hand he needs, and washing his dishes and picking up his dirty socks isn’t her thing. Then she remembers why she wanted the ranch in the first place…it’s a safe haven after her bitter divorce.

With a bigger cattle herd and more land, Aidan Bellamy really could use Liberty’s help. Sharing a house is just a living arrangement, right? Convincing himself will be difficult when she parades around with her toned thighs peeking out of her nightshirt and he discovers her in his Jacuzzi more than once. A self-proclaimed bachelor isn’t blind to the fact that women Liberty’s age are lookin’ for a big man to take care of them, and while he might have invited her into this deal, nobody’s sinking her hooks into him.

At least until he learns of the threats against her. No matter how hard he tries to resist, the solution’s staring him in the face.

There’s only one answer left.

It’s marry her and save her from losing it all or let her burn.

Only one look from Liberty sets him aflame. And one touch from Aidan might start a wildfire of emotions neither want to face.

Killer in the Kiwis (Lovely Lethal Gardens Book 11)

 by Dale Mayer

Buy Link - Amazon

Another amusing adventure with Doreen and her menagerie of pets, who usually help save the day. While her deck is being built she's on the hunt for the killer of these local elderly women. What's the kiwi connection all about? I'm enjoying watching her relationship/friendship grow with Mack, not really sparks flying but they are comfortable together. Do we have to wait for the Z book I wonder? There were many twists in this story, the author rode us on a merry chase trying to work out whodunnit. The ending sure had a very unexpected event, can't wait for the next story.

A new cozy mystery series from USA Today best-selling author Dale Mayer. Follow gardener and amateur sleuth Doreen Montgomery—and her amusing and mostly lovable cat, dog, and parrot—as they catch murderers and solve crimes in lovely Kelowna, British Columbia.

Riches to rags. ... Chaos again. ... Winning is important, ... at least for some!

Doreen is overwhelmed with joy when she sees all the volunteers who show up to help get her deck addition built. Most of the men are cops, friends of Corporal Mack Moreau’s, and are happy to help Mack’s special friend and the lady who has helped solve so many crimes for them with a spot of home renovation.

But before the deck improvement can be finished, duty calls, and the cops are called away on a case. Another gray-haired lady has dropped dead. Yet another heart attack victim is added to the long line of previous ones. And, of course, neither of these recently deceased women had a heart condition that would explain their sudden demise.

With her animals at her side, Doreen is determined to figure out what the ladies had in common, plus why and how kiwis keep popping up in this case. As she digs into the ladies’ lives, the things Doreen discover are shocking, … but not as shocking as the answer is to this riddle …

Review:

Asher and his brother are trying their best to cope with life after the tragic loss of their brother. Asher's mission takes him to South America to save the lives of an International project team caught up in a war of greed and terror. Eden and Asher find themselves trapped together in a bank vault. As his team try to help them escape these two get to know each other. Will they both survive?
This was an exciting tale, once the story really took off and action took over I couldn't put it down. Wonderful characters, we got to know the team in previous books of this series.
I highly recommend this story, it stands alone but you'll want to read the others too.

Can he overcome his pain and heartbreak in time to save the woman he loves?

Life had always come easy to Navy SEAL, Asher Thorne, until a overwhelming loss made him doubt his ability to protect the ones he loved. Devastated, he has no choice but to push on and do his duty.

Forgetting You

 by L A CASEY

Buy Link - Amazon

This was my first read by this author and wow, she'll be on my TBR pile now.
This story had all the 'feels'. I don't know why so many reviews are bad, but that's just an opinion and here's mine.
The two main characters had a history, one that was not really over and we'll find out why as the story progresses. Noah has amnesia after a tragic accident giving her and Elliot a second chance to start over. She doesn't know her husband or the last 5 years of her life. You just know there is more to this story, I had an inkling and couldn't wait for the story to unfold as we learned the truth. It was a slow burn, the chemistry sizzled, the characters real and the excitement at the end had my heart racing. Great story and I will look out for more books by this author.

The fiery new romance from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author L.A. Casey—can Noah unlock her memories…and find true love?

When Noah Ainsley wakes up in a hospital room with no recollection of how she got there, all she knows is that she needs to see Elliot, the love of her life. Then she learns the horrifying truth: her short-term memory has been destroyed by a car accident . She and Elliot broke up five years ago. And now she’s married to Anderson, a man she doesn’t even recognise.

In an instant Noah’s world is turned on its head. All she wants is Elliot by her side, but it’s clear Anderson is hurt by her rejection. Can she really have fallen in love with this stranger? Nothing makes sense—and when even Elliot refuses to answer her questions, Noah is left feeling all alone.

But as her memories slowly return, Noah begins to wonder if she’s been wrong to shut Anderson out—and wrong to put all her trust in Elliot. The ex she loves and the husband she doesn’t remember hold the keys to her past. And when the truth is finally revealed, which future will Noah’s heart choose?

The Christmas Table: A Novel (Christmas Hope)

 By Donna VanLiere

buy link - Amazon

A beautiful 5 star read

I love it when I find a new-to-me author that I really enjoy. This was a not a traditional Christmas story. It was more about the time leading up to it in two different times. We alternate between 1972 and 2012. Two different families connected by a table and recipes. Their lives and hope for a miracle. One with cancer and one with a baby on the way. Two women whose lives are about to change. The story had all the emotions, I cried sad tears and happy tears. I love the way the author tied these two stories together and the deeper connection at the end. A beautiful story and wonderful characters. I loved every minute of it.

From Donna VanLiere, the New York Times bestselling author of The Christmas Hope series comes another heartwarming, inspirational story for the holidays, The Christmas Table.

In June 1972, John Creighton determines to build his wife Joan a kitchen table. His largest project to date had been picture frames but he promises to have the table ready for Thanksgiving dinner. Inspired to put something delicious on the table, Joan turns to her mother’s recipes she had given to Joan when she and John married.

In June 2012, Lauren Mabrey discovers she’s pregnant. Gloria, Miriam, and the rest of her friends at Glory’s Place begin to pitch in, helping Lauren prepare their home for the baby. On a visit to the local furniture builder, Lauren finds a table that he bought at a garage sale but has recently refinished. Once home, a drawer is discovered under the table which contains a stack of recipe cards. Growing up in one foster home after another, Lauren never learned to cook and is fascinated as she reads through the cards. Personal notes have been written on each one from the mother to her daughter and time and again Lauren wonders where they lived, when they lived, and in a strange way, she feels connected to this mother and her daughter and wants to make the mother proud.

The story continues to from 1972 to 2012 as Joan battles breast cancer and Lauren learns to cook, preparing for the baby’s arrival. As Christmas nears, can Lauren unlock the mystery of the table, and find the peace she's always longed for?

Hard Line (Cobra Elite Book 5)

 by Pamela Clare

Buy Link - Amazon

I highly recommend this story, I dove right in and didn't come up for air. Such an exciting and entertaining tale of mystery. I didn't know whodunnit, some of you will but I'm glad for the suspense and surprise.

I think I even got an education from this book, I'm sure Melbourne gets those winds from the South Pole, bone numbing winds. Thor and his mates are on a mission and encounter a lot more that they imagined. The Cobra team are appointed detectives to solve a crime which is connected to their original mission of retrieving components from a downed satellite. Love wasn't in the mix but chemistry happens. Will they all survive and discover the criminal element in this mystery?

A woman dragged into danger…

Dr. Samantha Park’s life is shaken when her best friend and research partner dies barely two months into their eight-month stretch at the South Pole. She hasn’t begun to face her loss when men from Cobra International Security arrive to recover sensitive military components from a crashed satellite—and ask her to come with them. As a scientist, she has always been suspicious of the military, and flying across Antarctica in austral winter is more like suicide than a rescue mission. But when she hears what’s at stake, she agrees to help and is forced to put her trust in Thor Isaksen, the tall, broad-shouldered Dane who leads the Cobra team.

The only man who can keep her alive…

Thor served as an elite soldier in Afghanistan and spent two years as part of a Danish spec-ops unit patrolling sea ice in the Arctic. He’s used to the cold and constant darkness. That’s why he’s been tapped to lead this mission. Under orders to do whatever he must to keep a dangerous weapon from falling into enemy hands, he’s prepared for every scenario—except one. Samantha, with her blue eyes and brilliant mind, takes him by surprise. She’s confident in her abilities as a scientist and yet so unsure of herself as a woman. Stuck at the station with his team until the weather clears, he can’t ignore the growing attraction he feels for her even if she’s the last thing he should be doing on the job.

A killer who will destroy them all…

As temperatures drop to one hundred below, the heat between Thor and Samantha flares out of control. But a killer is lurking on station, someone with an agenda that threatens not only the lives of every person there, but also global peace. It will take all of Thor’s skill and strength to stop the murderous traitor—and keep himself and the woman he loves alive.

Another enjoyable read in this series. This story is about Logan 'Patriot'. He's in trouble, is he being framed for theft and why? He meets Aarica and keeps bumping into her...is it fate? Their chemistry was sweet and yet sizzling. I enjoyed their romance and the mystery behind the crimes. Entertaining story and wonderful characters, I thoroughly enjoyed it. #readonmybirthday

A biker in trouble. A woman who doesn’t run from it.
